4 Taliban insurgents killed in Farah province

In a car bomb explosion triggered by a premature blast in a Vehicle-borne Improvised Explosive Device about four Taliban insurgents were killed.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement said that in the explosion which took place in western Farah province four Taliban insurgents riding a motor bomb were on their way to reach their target when the explosives went off.

MoI in a statement added The blast took place on Sunday evening in the vicinity of Dand Jal village in Anar Dara district

The anti-government armed militant groups including the Taliban insurgents have not commented regarding the report so far.

In the meantime, the ministry of interior says the blast not inflicted casualties to anyone else including the local residents or security personnel.

Roadside bombings, coordinated attacks on security posts and government institutions, car bombings, clashes with the security forces are often reported from the province.
