41 militants killed in the past 24 hours

Interior Ministry announced in a statement on Sunday that over 41 militants were killed in newest round of army’s operations across the country in the last 24 hours.

The statement said that the operations were jointly conducted by the Afghan National Police, National Army and personnel from the National Directorate of Security (NDS) in Nangarhar, Baghlan, Kunduz, Faryab, Sar-e-Pul, Kandahar, Zabul, Oruzgan, Maidan Wardak and Ghazni provinces in past 24 hours.

The statement added that 41 militants were killed, eight wounded and 19 others detained during these operations.

Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) have been engaged in large-scale operations against Taliban and other militant groups who are endangering the lives of bereaved people and the development of Afghanistan.
