Afghan fighter placed 1st among top 3 fighters of the world in online contest

The Afghan Mixed Martial Art (MMA) fighter Baz Mohammad Mubariz has secured the 1st place among the top 3 best fighters of the world – Best Fighters of Striking Eagles.

Mubariz was placed in the top after receiving 7,516 votes during a contest organized by the Absolute Championship Berkut (ACB) fighting organization.

Mubariz was selected among the 30 fighters of the world by ACB during the initial phases of the contest where 450 fighters from different countries participated.

He secured the 1st place during the voting contest which concluded on 21st October during a two week online voting process.

According to ACB, three fighters who receives the most votes will sign a contract with ACB League where two fighters on the jury’s choice will fight at Absolute Championship Berkut international tournaments.

The partner of Striking Eagles is the company Extreme Hobby ™, which provides equipment for the 5 winners of the contest “Striking Eagles”.

Mubariz is one of Afghanistan’s brightest Mixed Martial Arts stars – in a country far removed from the glitz and glamour of America’s UFC series.

He defeated his opponent from the Czech Republic by knocking him out in August during an event which he said was dedicated to the Afghan national security forces who are fighting tireless to defend Afghanistan and the Afghan people.

Also known as “the Eagle”, Mubariz started his pro career in India, where he went through a three-round battle with Kazakhstan prospect Kuat Khamitov.
