Afghan government strongly condemns Egypt terror attack

Afghan government strongly condemned the terror attack on a mosque in Egypt that killed at least 235 people and injured 125 others.

Afghan government in a statement condemned the terror attack on Al-Rawda mosque in north Sinai of Egypt that killed at least 235 worshippers and injured 125 others.

The statement reads: “The government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan strongly condemns the terror attack on Al-Rawdha mosque in north Sinai of Egypt that killed and wounded a number of worshippers.”

The statement adds: “Afghan people suffering from threats and attacks of terrorism during the past decades can closely feel the pains that families of this horrible incident victims sustained.”

Emphasizing on collective efforts to eradicate terrorism, Afghan government on behalf of itself and Afghan people offers its highest condolences to the people and government of Egypt, added the statement.
