Afghan top security officials in Pakistan for talk with PAK authorities

Afghan top security officials have arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday for an important meeting.

The top security officials, the intelligence chief Masoom Stanikzai and minister of interior Wais Ahmad Barmak are in Pakistan to hold talks with the Pakistani officials.

The Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal confirmed the arrival of the two senior security officials for the talks.

He said the national directorate of security chief Stanikzai, interior minister Barmak, and himself comprises a delegation for the talks with the Pakistani officials.

According to Zakhilwal, they will hold talks with the military, intelligence, and other officials of the country but did not detailed further about the agenda of the talks.

Meanwhile reports indicate that the security officials have also taken with them some documents and evidences regarding the involvement of the Haqqani network leaders in recent attacks.

According to the reports, the officials would share their specific documents regarding the Intercontinental Hotel with the Pakistani officials
