Nabil:

We will stand against election frauds

Insisting on preventing frauds in the Afghan presidential elections, the head of the Security and Justice electoral team says that if transparent votes would be separated from the non-transparent, the team which claims victory, would not even take the third place.

“Frauds in 2014 elections led to the formation of the illegal National Unity Government (NUG) and the people paid the price,” said Rahmatullah Nabil, the head of Security and Justice electoral team during a press conference in Kabul on Monday.

According to him, those who cheated in 2014 still want to take this election into crisis while they are making a mistake because the people will no longer allow them to play with their destiny.
“In the five years of NUG, Afghanistan has become very weak. If there is another crisis, no one can stop it,” he emphasized, adding that “the people should not let them to play with their destiny again and lead Afghanistan to another five years of crisis.”

Rahmatullah Nabil stressed that he will stand against fraudsters, saying that “if the International Community and some embassies intervene in election affairs, they are definitely trying to destroy the system and Afghanistan, something people won’t accept.”
“Election will go to the second round and if the transparent votes would be separated from the non-transparent, the same candidates who declared themselves as winner would not even come in the third place,” he added.
