Deadly bloodshed in Farah/ scores of security forces killed

In a deadly attack by the Taliban insurgents in western Farah province, at least 15 Afghan security forces were killed and a number of others were wounded.

A spokesman for Afghan commandos in western part of the country, Norul-Haq Khaleqhi has said that at least 15 Afghan security forces have been killed in a Taliban attack on a security post in Bala-Boluk district of Farah province.

Head of Farah provincial council Farid Bakhtawar has also confirmed the tool and said three more soldiers are missing.

But an official who asked not to be named said at least 30 Afghan soldiers have been killed in the ambush attack of the Taliban.

In the meantime, Bakhtawar also says that at least 30 insurgents were killed in battel.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujhaid claimed responsibility for the attack.
