Afghan president Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has said that he has entered presidential palace after Afghan people cast their votes for him.

President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani addressing youths at Afghan Parliament today said that he has entered ARG (presidential palace where president’s office is located) after Afghan people cast their votes for him.

President Ghani speaks of his presidential wining today, after CE Abdullah Abdullah said on Thursday that it was him who had given president Ghani the permission to enter ARG.

In the meantime, Spokesman for Chief Executive Mojib-u-Rahman Rahimi said on Saturday that he doesn’t know president Ghani as the legitimate president of Afghanistan.

President Ghani however called today on unity of all Afghans and said “we can reach nowhere without unity.”

It is worth mentioning, disputes again erupted between two top leaders after president Ghani assigned Ahmad Nader Naderi as the head of “Civil Services and Administrative Reforms Directorate.”

Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah had said on Thursday that “how a person with no experience in governmental offices could be appointed as the head of administrative reforms directorate?”

President Ghani assigned Naderi for the post without CE Abdullah’s consults and that is a violation of political agreements, according to Dr. Abdullah Abdullah.

CE Abdullah said later on the day that he would meet president Ghani on Saturday to resolve the issues, but President Ghani refused to hold such a meeting.
