Hekmatyar’s Hizb-e-Islami to revenge Taliban

Some Members of Parliament believe Hekmatyar’s recent act to protect ISIL in Afghanistan is to revenge against Taliban.

Yesterday, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, leader of Islamic Party (Hizb-e-Islmai), urged his fans and followers to support and protect those group of Taliban who have joined ISIL.

MPs believe of the act from Hakmatyar as an obsession and say there is nothing to worry.

Iqbal Safi an MP told presses Taliban had its first clashes with Hizb-e-Islami, and now Hekmatyar is to revenge the Taliban’s act.

“The only reason of Hekmatyar’s recent move is to revenge and stand against his adversaries.” Abdulwadud Payman another MP said, adding that most members of his party are in government and he has reached the decision out of his personal obsession, which is not a matter of concern.

Hekmatyar’s Hizb-e-Islami is a prominent political party in Afghanistan which is against the government. The party also campaigned for Qutbuddin Helal’s presidential candidacy in presidential election last year.

However, Salih Mohammad Salih, Kunar representative in parliament says the only thing Hekmatyar cares is to make use of ISIL’s equipment and that is not a matter of concern.

“Hekmatyar’s antagonism against the government is not limited to a particular timelines, no matter what the color of its flag is, white or black.” Salih Added.

He believes security officials’ duty is still the same and should never change stance against or for any foes.

It has been reportedly confirmed that some Taliban militants are joining ISIL in Afghanistan.

The reports also confirms ISIL militants have started some partial activities throughout some provinces.
