Iran’s daily electricity export to Afghanistan is 190k kilowatts

An Iranian official has said that his country’s daily electricity export to Afghanistan is 190,000 kilowatts.

Director for border Iranian city of Taibad Electric Office Ehsan Siyahzadeh said on Sunday that 190,000 kilowatts /hour electricity exported to Afghanistan daily.

He told IRNA that since the beginning of the current solar year (March 20, 2017) more than 48,000 megawatts electricity had been exported to Afghanistan through Dogharoun distribution post.

This amount is supplying needed electricity by Afghanistan villages close to Dogharoun border, with 13,000 households.
