At least 12 ISIS fighters killed or wounded in east, Afghanistan

At least 12 ISIS fighters were killed or wounded in eastern Kunar province after clashes erupted between security forces and the militants.  

The 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan National Army (ANA) said in a statement that at least 8 ISIS fighters were killed and four others were wounded in the vicinity of Kunar Bain area in easern Kunar province during a clash between security forces.

According to the source, the incident took place late on Saturday night.

The statement further added that two weapons, eight magazines of ammunition, 2 rocket launcher missiles, 1 communication device set, and 3 mobile phones together with the dead bodies of the two militants were left in the area in the aftermath of the clashes.

ISIS has yet to make any comment regarding the report so far.
