Samangan province accident left 6 dead, 4 wounded

During two separately traffic accidents 6 people have been killed and 4 others injured in northern Samangan province, an official said on Wednesday.

“The incident happened at around 6:00pm on Tuesday due high speed and recklessness of the driver, Traffic Police Chief Col.” Abdul Razeq said. Pajhwok news reported.

Elsewhere, four young boys were killed on Tuesday when a car rammed into a tanker in the Qachan locality of Aibak,  the provincial capital, the traffic police chief said.

Ali Raza, a doctor at the civil hospital said six bodies, including a woman corpse and four wounded, including a child had been transferred to the hospital. Two injured are said to be in critical condition.

Zabihullah, 52, a father of the dead boy in the accident, said: “his son along with his others three friends were travelling to Balkh for the New Year celebration ceremony.

He said his son did not inform them of traveling to Mazar-i-Sharif
