Masoom Stanikzai, was questioned by lawmakers in parliament on Saturday.
Earlier, Stanikzai refused request to attend questioning session.
During Saturday’s session, some MPs expressed concern regarding insecurity in Afghanistan.
“There are 21 terror groups in Afghanistan. Which are we making peace with?,” said MP Lalai Hamidzai, who is also a member of parliamentary security commission.
“The other issue is that deadly suicide attacks in provinces like Kabul, Helmand and northern provinces, the issue of Dashti-i-Archi airstrike and Kabul Intercontinental Hotel attack is concerning,” he said.
