“These prisoners were in different jails of the Islamic Emirate (Taliban) and were released and handed over to their families on their assurance that they would not oppose the Taliban,” Taliban spokesman Qari Muhammad Yousaf Ahmadi told Afghan Islamic Press (AIP(
