Taliban leader killed along with his 5 comrades in North

Afghan Security officials in northern part of the country said that Taliban local leader Qari Amrullah along with his 5 comrades was killed during a clash in Faryab.

The 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan Military in the North said Friday that the clash between the armed forces and the Taliban insurgents took place in the vicinity of Ghormach district, according to Khaama.

The source further added that at least four Taliban insurgents and an Afghan soldier were also wounded during the clash.

According to the Shaheen Corps of the Afghan military, the ordinary civilians and local residents have not suffered any casualty.

The anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban insurgents have not commented regarding the report so far.
