The Afghanistan national cricket team defeated Zimbabwe by 58 runs

The Afghanistan national cricket team defeated Zimbabwe by 58 runs with a thrilling century by Mohammad Nabi helping the Afghan team to set a target of 272 runs.

Afghanistan chose to bat first after winning the toss and lost six wickets to set a target of 272 runs for Zimbabwe.

Nabi scored 116 runs from 121 balls by hitting 3 fours and 6 sixes while opener Noor Ali Zadran scored 60 runs from 99 balls.

Mohamamd Shahzad scored 17 runs from 12 balls, Asghar Stanikzai 39 runs, Nawroz Mangal 2 runs and Samiullah Shenwari remained not our after scoring 20 runs along with Rashid Khan who scored 8 runs from 4 balls.

However, the Zimbabwe batsmen could not chase the given target and were all out after scoring 213 runs with Aftab Alam, Dawlat Zadran and Samiullah Shenwari taking two wickets each, while Mohammad Nabi, Amir Hamza and Rashid Khan taking one wicket each to restrict the Zimbabwe batsmen in 46.4 over of the game.
