With NATO help, Afghan forces took back Khawja Omari district in Ghazni

Security Officials in southeastern Ghazni province have said that with the help of NATO air support, the Afghan forces have managed to take back the control of Khawja Omari district.

Ghazni Police chief, Ramazan Ali Mohseni said that with the help of NATO forces’ air support, Afghan forces have managed to take back the control of Khawja Omari district.

Mohseni also said at least 45 Taliban militants were killed during the clashes between Afghan forces and Taliban militants.

Taliban militants launched a coordinated attack at around 2 A.M Thursday and killed the district chief, Ali Dust Shams along with some other officials and soldiers stationed in the security posts nearby.
