130 undocumented trailers are stopped at Islam Qala customs by Islamic Emirate
“It has been for three months that our trailers have been stopped by Islamic Emirate at Islam Qala customs due to being undocumented” some drivers said
Talking to Raha News agency, Seyyed Azad, a trailer driver, quoted Herat customs` officials as saying from 500 thousand trailers in Herat transportation system 130 one are undocumented.
He added Herat customs officials have urged the undocumented trailers` drivers to receive their documents and driving licenses as soon as possible.
Trailers` documents along with driving licenses cost 2 hundred thousand Afs to be issues, compounded with 30 to 50 thousand Afs for renewing is very expensive for owners he added
The trailers will be stopped unless they are issued documents and driving licenses Mr. Azad quoted Herat customs` officials as saying
Most of the stopped trailers are for carrying oil, gas and chickens.
Drivers and trailers` owners have been under hard restrictions since the Islamic Emirate taking over said Muhammad Firuz, a trailer`s driver
“There were some problems about trailers documents and driving licenses in ex-government but having trailers stopped for four months without any incomes was rare” he added
As long as the trailers are stopped at customs, the price of food staff and petrol go up on a daily bases said Habib Habibi, a resident in Herat
He said security situations are improved but the economy has closed to complete clasp.
“Afghanistan has inherited some basic problems from ex-government” Sahel Rasuli, a social activist said
In ex-government, once facing a problem, one could solve it with paying bribe while roots had been remained fixed he added
Taliban, but, claim they seek for basic solutions for problems.
