2 killed, 11 injured as blast rocks Kunduz city
Two persons were killed and 11 others injured as a bomb blast ripped through Kunduz city the capital of northern Kunduz province 250 km north of Kabul on Wednesday, spokesman for provincial government Abdul Wadod Wahidi said.
“A bomb blast organized by militants claimed the lives of two persons including an innocent child and injuring 11 others at 09: 40 a.m. local time today,” Wahidi told reporters here.
All the victims are civilians, he added. A woman and child are among those injured in the violent incident.
Kunduz has been the scene of Taliban-led militancy over the past couple of years
