44 people killed & wounded in Kabul suicide attack
According to security officials at least 26 people were killed and 18 others wounded in a suicide blast in Kabul on Wednesday.
The explosion happened at around 12:00pm in the limits of third Police District near to Kart-i-Sakhi area.
“8 people were killed and 20 other wounded in today’s suicide blast.” Waheedullah Majroh, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH)
Faizullah, an eyewitness said the explosive were placed in a motorbike.
He said, “The motorbike rider rammed into the crowd of people who returned from gathering in Kart-i-Sakhi and detonated the explosives.”
He added many people suffered causalities as a result of the blast.
Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant(ISIL) claims responsibility for the blast.
