51 new positive cases of coronavirus recorded across Afghanistan in past 24 hours
The health authorities recorded 51 new positive cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) across Afghanistan in the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Public Health confirmed confirmed that the new cases were recorded in 11 provinces of the country.
Waheedullah Mayar, a spokesperson for Public Health Ministry, said the officials recorded 28 new cases in Kabul, 3 in Herat, 2 in Ghazni and 4 in Kapisa province.
He also added that 6 other cases were recorded in Nangarhar, 3 in Kunr, 1 in Parwarn, 1 in Bamyan, 1 in Laghman, 1 in Paktiya and 1 in Farah.
According to Ministry of Public Health, the new cases increase the total number of COVID-19 cases to 1,143 which have been recorded since the outbreak of the disease in the country.
