A petrol seller in Herat: My daily sales is zero

Before the Taliban taking over, the daily sales were four barrels of petrol and gasoline said a petrol seller in Herat

 Talking to Raha press, Jamshid, a petrol seller complained sharp decrease in his daily petrol sales after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan.

He added prior to this, he sold four barrels of oil and gasoline to taxi drivers on a daily basis.

“Recently, my sales have reached zero.” Jamshid added  

 According to Mr. Jamshid Rahimi the taxi drivers rarely buy oil thought they need oil as a necessity for their work.

Confirming Mr. Rahimi`s statements, another petrol seller in Herat said the taxi drivers use gas instead of oil. Also, citizens take taxies less.

The price of petrol has doubled recently, therefore the taxi drivers prefer gas that is cheaper he added

“Using gas damages the engines of the cars despite being cheaper” he explained
