Afghan forces retake Bilchiragh district in Faryab
Afghan forces have retaken Bilchiragh district in northern Faryab province after they launched special operations to take back the district.
Afghan defense ministry said in a message to media on Thursday that Afghan forces were able to retake Bilchiragh district in northern Faryab province at around 4:30 am Thursday.
The message added that further details regarding the progress would be shared with the media soon.
Taliban militants overran Bilchiragh district at two or three days ago.
Taliban has yet to make any comment.
