Afghanistan would welcome any non-preconditioned assistance
The Chief Executive Officer of the government said on Sunday that Russia has assisted Afghan National Security Forces with military equipment in the past, and if another offer of assistance is made Afghanistan would welcome it.

Abdullah Abdullah while talking to a press conference in Presidential Palace said that Afghanistan has been fighting terrorism from the past 14 years and need the assistance of any country against the phenomenon, provided that the offer is non-preconditioned.
“If any country wants to assist Afghanistan in war on terror, Afghanistan welcomes the offer,” he said.
Terrorists from everywhere have arrived in Afghanistan, today it is acknowledged that terrorism does not know borders, Abdullah said.
Answering a question if the war in Syria and Afghanistan has similarity, Abdullah said that the issue of Afghanistan is different.
His comments come as the emergence of ISIS “Daesh” and increasing insurgency in Afghanistan has made Russia concerned.
Moscow is mulling to extend its support to Kabul before the insurgency spills over to other countries from Afghanistan.
Abdul Rashid Dostum, the First-Vice President of Afghanistan recently visited Russia where he received promises in this regard.
