Clothes sales in particular women ones sharply decreased in Herat
Faramarz Mohammadi said compared to the last year, women clothes` selling has reduced by 70 percent.

“After the Taliban takeover, the clothes sales in general and the women clothes selling in particular has faced with a sharp decrease.” Some clothes sellers in Herat told Raha press.

He added Afghanistan future is dark and people are not in the mood of buying clothes.
“On such a days last year, I earned 10 to 15 thousands Afs on a daily basis but now I can hardly make 1 Afs on most of the days” Mr. Mohammadi said
According to him, Afghans flee from their country due to increasing poverty and economic collapse.
“People sell their homes` furniture to escape rather than buying clothes” Asif Heidari, a shopkeeper in Leilami street in Herat said

According to him, tens hundreds of Afghan youths flee the country due to poverty every day but they are forcibly returned back since tried illegal ways to neighboring countries.
