Continued tensions between Afghanistan and Tajikistan; Northeastern zone governors reached Shirkhan Bandar
“Stablishing security, solving the business men problems and visiting transit roads leading to neighboring countries is the purpose of the trip.” Mutiullah Rowhani, Taliban Kunduz provincial spokesperson told Raha News Agency reporter in Badakhshan province

To stablish more security against probable tensions and evaluate security situations, the governors of Badakhshan, Takhar and Kunduz along with a delegation from ministry of borders and Islamic Emirate of Taliban director general of intelligence visited Shirkhan Bandar.
“Stablishing security, solving the business men problems and visiting transit roads leading to neighboring countries is the purpose of the trip.” Mutiullah Rowhani, Taliban Kunduz provincial spokesperson told Raha News Agency reporter in Badakhshan province
This comes as local sources said Shirkhan Bandar is still closed but during this trip only more forces are places in the border
Recently, following the increase in tensions between Taliban and Tajikistan, the two sides sent their army forces to the border.
Meanwhile, Russia asked Tajikistan and Taliban to solve their tensions through an acceptable way.
Taliban accused Tajikistan of interfering in Afghanistan interior affairs and warned of reactions if it continues.
