Crime has decreased in the country; Kabul police chief says

Kabul police chief says graph of crimes has reduced in the country’s capital.

Speaking in a news conference yesterday, Kabul police Chief Gen. Abdul Rahman Rahimi said, “136 individuals have been detained by police in accusation of 73 different criminal and terrorist cases in Kabul during the past two weeks.”

He said graph of criminal incidents in the country’s capital has reduced comparing to that of last year, adding that a number of crimes and destructive activities have also been prevented.

Kabul police chief considered causes of crime in Kabul as poverty and drug-addiction.

He further said that 24 others have been detained in crimes related to drug-trafficking and using of 70 alcoholic beverages.

Meanwhile, Kabul police have prevented many terror incidents in the city and districts during the past two weeks.
