Explosion in Laghman leaves one woman killed, eight people wounded
According to local officials in northern Laghman province, an explosion in Mehtarlam city of the province left at least one woman killed and either other people wounded, including women and children as well.
A local governor spokesman Sarhadi Zwak confirmed the incident and said the explosion occurred at around 11:30 am on Saturday in a market in Mehtarlam city capital of the province.
The incident left one woman killed and eight other people including 4 woman, two children and two men were wounded.
According to officials, the wounded were rushed to hospitals and are in good condition.
No group or individual has yet taken the responsibility of the explosion.
