Explosion in northern Takhar province leaves 5 killed
Explosion in Northern Takhar province of Afghanistan left at least 5 killed and 3 others wounded. Local officials said.
The explosion occurred in Darghad district of the province when a passerby stepped on a roadside bomb early this afternoon.
As a result, at least 5 lost their lives and 3 others were wounded, reported to be all civilians.
Children are also among the victims.
No one have claimed responsibility for the incident, however, Taliban militants too often plant such devices to confront Afghan forces.
