Ghani travels to Herat to assess overall situation
At the head of high-level delegation, President Ashraf Ghani on Thursday travelled to western Herat province to meet residents and evaluate overall situation in the province, an official said.
Deputy Presidential Spokesman Dawa Khan Menapal tweeted that President Ghani reached Herat to assess the overall governance in the province.
He said the president would hold separate meetings with civil, military officials, ulema, women, youth, and members of provincial council, civil activists and businessmen.
