Islamic Emirate foreign minister left for Iran

Islamic Emirate foreign ministry spokesperson, Abd ul Ghahar Balkhi, said Motaqi left for Iran on invitation of Iran`s officials.

Mowlawi Amir Khan Motaqi, the Islamic Emirate foreign minister, leading a high rank Taliban officials delegation left Kabul for Iran.

Islamic Emirate foreign ministry spokesperson, Abd ul Ghahar Balkhi, said Motaqi left for Iran on invitation of Iran`s officials.

He added during this trip various issues including political and economic issues as well as transport and Afghan refugees in Iran will be discussed.  

This is while Iran yet to recognize the Taliban. Establishing a comprehensive government by Taliban is the big Iran`s precondition.

As reports say more than 3 million Afghans have lived in Iran for more than 4 decades.
