Kazakhstan gives Tajikistan military-technical assistance to strengthen border with Afghanistan
Kazakhstan has given enough military-technical assistance to Tajikistan to help strengthen the protection of the Tajik-Afghan border, CSTO Secretary-General Nikolai Bordyuzha told journalists after the meeting with Tajik president Emomali Rahmonv.

“The provision of military and technical assistance to Tajikistan in strengthening the border with Afghanistan will continue. Almost all countries of the CSTO in different volumes and depending on their capabilities have already provided their assistance. Kyrgyzstan told the CSTO Secretariat that it prepared its contribution to the assistance to Tajikistan,” he said.
He added that during the meeting with Rahmonv, they discussed the implementation of the priorities of Tajikistan during its chairmanship in the Collective Security Treaty Organization this year.
CSTO members are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
