Mir Masjidi Khan State Medal confered on NATO deputy commander to Afghanistan
President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a farewell meeting with NATO RS deputy commander to Afghanistan Gen. Rainey conferred Mir Masjidi Khan state medal on him at Presidential Palace.
The medal awarded to recognize his enduring partnership with the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces for the stability and security of Afghanistan.
In the meeting, President Ghani praised Gen. Rainey for his efforts and services towards counter terrorism, maintaining peace and stability and strengthening the Afghan forces.
The outgoing NATO RS deputy commander to Afghanistan Gen. Rainey said that it was needed he would come back to serve in Afghanistan.
