“Restaurants` activities in Badakhshan are allowed in accordance with the Islamic Emirate of Taliban “promotion of virtue and suppression of vice” principles, otherwise, they will be made closed” Muezuddin Ahamdy, the head of Islamic Emirate provincial office of information and culture said

He called on hotels` managers, as a signal of cooperation with “promotion of virtue and suppression of vice” office, to obey the Islamic Sharia laws.

This is as Taliban in their former Islamic Emirate implemented tough and restrict laws against women, but after again taking over, they have let women`s work and education in frame of Islamic sharia.
