A 20-member list of negotiating team for peace talks with the Taliban was circulating on social networks and media outlets on Wednesday.

Afghan State Ministry for Peace rejected the list of 20-member negotiating team for talks with Taliban published Wednesday on media outlets.

A 20-member list of negotiating team for peace talks with the Taliban was circulating on social networks and media outlets on Wednesday.

However, the Afghan state ministry for peace spokeswoman Najia Anwari in a message said the list is not approved by them.
“This list is not confirmed by the state Ministry for peace. SMP will share the final and confirmed list of negotiation team with the people soon,” she added.
This comes as Afghan Government-Taliban held a video conference Wednesday on prisoner exchanges. The two sides agreed prisoner releases start by March 31.
