Planted mine kills young girl in Ghor instead of her ex-military father
A planted land-mine killed a young girl in western Ghor province on Friday; the mine had been planted to target her father, a former military commander.

Local sources in western Ghor province told Raha Press reporter that a young girl was killed on Friday when a planted mine exploded outside her home.
Hassan Hakimi a social activist in Ghor confirmed that the mine had been planted to target the young girl’s father who was a former local military commander.
The girl’s father was a former military commander and had also led a local uprising mobilization armed group in the province to fight against Taliban fighters, Hakimi added.
He denies the Taliban not having hands in the incident.
Taliban has yet to make any comments on this.
