President Ghani called on Taliban to accept ceasefire

The president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan condemned yesterday’s terrorist attack in Ghazni and called on the Taliban to accept a ceasefire.

A statement issued by the Presidential Palace said: “The enemies of Afghanistan, in a series of unforgivable crimes, killed a number of our compatriots and wounded a number of others in a terrorist attack in Aghujan area of Gilan District Ghazni”

The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in the country, especially this barbaric attack, and said: “The Taliban must accept the demand of the Afghan people for a ceasefire and stop carrying out terrorist attacks which are crimes against humanity and Islam, ” and accept the Afghan peace process.

The President expresses his deep condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs and prays for the wounded from the court of God Almighty.
