Suicide bombing hit Mazar-e-Sharif in north Afghanistan

A suicide attack hit a daily market in city of Mazar-e-Sharif capital of northern Balkh province.

Early reports suggest at least one was killed and 14 others were injured.


Eyewitnesses say the incident took place at around 12:45 local time in a crowded market in Mazar-e-Sharif.


Officials at Ministry of Interior confirmed the incident and said that one was killed and 14 others were wounded, all civilians.


No group has yet to claim responsibility for the attack.
