Key Taliban commander opposing ex-government forces to head Ghur provincial administration
Confirming the appointment, Mowlawi Abdulhai Zaim, the Islamic Emirate of Taliban provincial head of information and culture office, told Raha News Agency they have received a formal letter from Kabul and the new governor will begin work in coming days.

Mowlawi Ahmad Shah Dindoost, a Taliban prominent commander in fight against ex-government security forces, was appointed as the new governor of Ghur province.

Mowlawi Ahmad Shah Dindoost is a Taliban key figure in the west of Afghanistan who led fight against ex-government security forces.
