Taliban re-attack on districts of Badakhshan
Local officials say Taliban insurgents have started another wave of their attacks on some districts of Badakhshan province.
Several security posts have reportedly been attacked early today in Varduj, Raghistan, Yamgan and Jaram districts of Badakhshan province.
Sakhidad Haidari, security chief of Badakhshan Police said early today around 05:00 A.M, Taliban insurgents in some scheduled strikes, attacked on several security posts in Tirgaran district.
He added that in the clashes between security forces and Taliban, 4 insurgents were killed and 6 other wounded.
He didn’t mention any possible casualties of the security forces.
It is the second time in recent weeks that violence have been flared towards Badakhshan province.
