Taliban suffered casualties in western Badghis province
Taliban have suffered heavy casualties in western Badghis province as clashes erupted on Monday between Afghan forces and Taliban insurgents.

Security officials in west say during the recent clashes, at least 15 Taliban insurgents were killed and 20 others were wounded.
A spokesman for Afghan national army in west Najibullah Najibi said Taliban suffered casualties after they attacked on security forces, with 15 of them being killed and 20 others wounded.
Key commanders of insurgents Haji La La, Ehsanullah and Zainuddin Fowji are also among the dead, Najibi said.
Sayed Aziz, Molawi Khan Mohammad and Mullah Noor Aqa Sarhadi are also some key figures of insugents who are among the wounded.
According to Najibi, the insurgents hailed from northern Faryab province.
Taliban has yet to make comments on the report.
Najibi also said that six Afghan soldiers also got minor injuries during these clashes.
