There should be positive engagement with Taliban
Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan met American diplomat John Kerry and stressed the need for positive engagement with Islamic Emirate of Taliban.

Khan met the United States’ Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry in Riyadh on October 25, 2021 on the sidelines of the “Middle East Green Initiative (MGI)” Summit.
He also called for release of blocked economic resources and financial assets of Afghanistan since it is very important for welfare of Afghan people.
According to Khan, international community to prevent humanitarian crisis and economic collapse in Afghanistan need to work pragmatically to establish peace and security.
He said a peaceful Afghanistan is to Pakistan and the region interests.
The Imran Khan is in Saudi for a three-day visit — from October 23-25.
Countries are yet to recognize the Taliban-led regime, which has been isolated by the international community since they took over after ousting Ashraf Ghani in mid-August.
