Two Taliban young girls wearing suicide vests killed in Nuristan
Two Taliban girls who had suicide vests on and were ready to commit a suicide attack were killed in eastern Nuristan province of Afghanistan.
According to ministry of defense, two girls equipped with suicide vests were killed in “Want Waygal” district of eastern Nuristan province while counter-insurgency operations were going on by Afghan forces.
The girls were linked to Taliban insurgents and were killed along with 25 others of the group insurgents, ministry added.
More than 30 others of the Taliban insurgents were injured during the same operations. According to the statement.
Taliban insurgents have yet to make any comments on the report.
Nuristan is located in eastern part of Afghanistan and has eight administrative districts with Parun serving as its capital.
